Our Story

The idea for the Hypothsis Soap Company originated 5 years ago in the suburbs of Chicago when a high school chemistry teacher discovered his love for creating and designing soaps that would bring joy to those using the soap.  After years of teaching students the chemistry of soap and making soap with students, he decided it was time to share this love of soap with a broader audience, and here we are - The Hypothesis Soap Company.

Here at Hypothesis, we believe that thoughtfully-crafted soap using natural ingredients has the power to put a smile on people's faces.  The hand-crafted soap experience is one we feel everyone should try.  We also believe that soap has the power to transform communities and schools.  Based on our experience in the world of education, we want to use Hypothesis to give back through fundraisers and education.
